Hey guys! It's Kathleen here :D I'll be talking about Patterns and Prints that are very much in trend for this season! :) These two can make you look fashionable through mix and matches with your different accessories plus, it won't be hurting your pockets. XP

FLORALS

From Yohana's post, floral patterns are trending this season! Well I wouldn't be surprised because I love wearing them myself and I think it's "THE OUTFIT" during spring and summer. I went to pinterest.com and saw these different floral dresses that speaks for the trend itself. Mix and Match them with your favorite bag or a braided belt or even hats! These clothes will definitely make you look cute and feminine.

IKAT

This is a new trend that's been growing and I think it's a fabulous idea. The exotic ikat prints are all about tribal patterns. It makes ancient look fresh! This look is seen on the recent runway shows but I think anyone can pull it off easily. Mix and Match them with pastel colors or wear them as dresses to get that edgy and energizing look :)

SPOTS

It's more known as polkadots but I think spots make it sound cuter. This dotty trend is definitely a must have for your wardrobe. It's easy to wear and it's effortless to make you look cute and funky. Mix and Match it with bold colors, braided belts, pastel bags, hats or better yet! Try matching it with stripes! It's risky but with confidence, anyone can definitely pull it off!

Floral Skirt

Hi! it's Yohana's turn again.  As u can see here, blogs from Kathleen and Mendy are all about spring and summer.  I want to talk about floral skirt that we can also wear at this nice weather nowadays.  Here are some ideas on how to mix and match different floral skirts.  Having them is probably the most basic way to make you stay in fashion.

Floral high waisted skirt is every girl's must have.  It can be matched with a simple top plan color especially black or white so i would be the best look with floral patterns. 

 

For instance, floral patterns can be worn for casual and semi formal events and if they are paired and worn correctly, you will look adorable.

 It is pretty and  can make you girly but it also can make it edgy and sexy too.  These various styles that you can wear it casual during the day and also at night.  Don't be afraid to wear some accessories like belt, bracelet and necklace.  

Everyday is a fashion show & the world is your runway.

Getting Ready for Springs with Pastel Pants!

We might get bored of denim blue jeans or denim dark pants whether is shorts or long. However this spring is going to be different! Since this spring is all about colorful pants.

We better watch out for this summer collection for all the window display in store! is going to one of a  kind where it will be fill with a huge splash of pastel colour! 

Here's a few tips and ideas what you can match up your pastel colour pants with;

Whenever you're not sure about what colour you can match up your pastel colour pants with, you can always start with a casual or pure black or white t-shirt or tank-top because that colour practically goes with anything since is neutral colour. You can also wear a light blue denim jeans jacket to top it up.

Did you get pants with shade that your really love? If you have similar shades of tops, then try a monochrome look with your new pastel pants. Did you know! that best on the true facts! when mixing shades of the same colour you can incorporate it at least 3 times to make it look intentional.

Since you guys all know that pastel are a pale colour, we can always add a brighter top or a brighter jewellery to give a nice overall impression of refreshing look. The colour tops that you chosen to wear, it would be good if it is closer to neon since is a better colour effects with the pastel colour pants.

The pastel colour pants and the closer to neon colour tops will also goes well with other types of accessories such as funky colour sunnies and neon or bright sky blue heels or even your old pair of nude stiletto or pump shoes that is all sell in Rubi shoes, Freelance, Wittner and Sportgirls at the moment.

So overall this Springs practically have fun with both pastel and neon colourful pants, tops, shoes and other types of accessories. Have fun also with bright stripy or diagonal or flowery pattern. Also making sure your avoiding cat sweaters  or anything else too kitschy cuz obviously your going to be hot to the max.

NEON!!!

Hey everyone! It's Kathleen and today I'll be blogging on one of the hottest trend for this Spring & Summer! Yes girls, neon trend is in and it's time to wear those bright tops and bottoms to lit up the sunny OZ. You can wear neon and go BOLD with those colors or use it with you own FEMININE style. Check out these neon styles straight from the catwalk.

Now, I know what you're thinking. I know that most of you are holding a tight budget so I went on a little online shopping spree on Cottonon.com.au and suggest some of those affordable but still fashionable Neon Tops, Blazers, Dresses, and Bottoms that you'll surely be in love with! 

Let's make it clear, when you choose to wear neon, you're never gonna go unnoticed. Be sure you want that kind of attention from everyone and be sure that you're comfortable in wearing them.

 If you're going for the modest look, use neon tops paired with darker colors. These would balance out the colors and make it more wearable. From cotton on, I found these 3 neon tops that were paired with something dark. Guess what? They're also just $30 dollars! 

I also thought wearing neon blazers would be a good way to show off those colors. From the blazers I've found in cotton on, you can go bold with the affordable neon orange blazer or go feminine with the lighter neon blazers.

What's spring without those flowy sundresses? You can also wear these fun and chic neon colored dresses! Don't forget to pair them with your accessories and bag. I suggest using Yohana's neon bags from our previous post. :D

Lastly, you can choose to pair your tops with colored jeans and shorts!

Our day sometimes cannot be colourful without something bright.  Thats why I wanna talk about bright bags.  Bag is always become our part of day cause we always carry bag when we go out.  The trend is coming to a Neon color or bright color with a simple model.

A trend we have been seriously loving are neon bag.

The thing is, we dont need to buy the expensive one cause there are a lot of neon bags with a good price.  For example, from ebay.  There are so many things we can buy from there.

For me, as a student, I cant afford for expensive bag.  It doesn't really matter whether it has a brand name or not as long as we love the bag.  Some people might be confuse to to match this neon bag with clothes.  Here i give some pictures for my suggestion:

Hey everyone, 

My name is Mandy Chung, so from today onward and for the next few days at 'Fashion Trends' blog; I'll be in charge on the recent, latest and new trend accessories that are available in store.

This includes accessories from a variety of different stores such as Colette, Diva, Equip, Forever New, Glassons and so much more. The latest accessories collection post in this blog such as bags, jewellery, head bands, belts and key rings will hopefully enable you guys as a viewer to gain inspiration and ideas on how to mix and match accessories to the latest clothes or shoes available in store .

So today as I’ve walk around Eastgarden Westfield Shopping Centre to do some window-shopping, I’ve come across different types of accessories, however what hit me most and gave me the best impression was the Jewellery and the clutch available in Collette, which was the untangled black metal necklace called “ Line Necklace” at $14.95 “ Cage Rectangle Box Clutch ” at $44.95; which I think would go well with Kathleen’s Marc Jacobs black and white chess board pattern long dress and Steve Madden stripy black stiletto shoes depending on the occasion.

I think this Clutch bag and Necklace would go well together with the dress and the shoes since it has unique sense of pattern and rhythm.

I Hope all of the viewer out there learn something and gain some insight inspiration from here and hopefully it will enable you guys to try something new or similar with your fashion.

New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week by Kathleen Gesilva

Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Shows

It's time! It's time for the New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week! All fashionista's are looking forward to this part of the year where they can get a full show of all the creative works of the high fashion industry. Prominent designers and luxury brands set-out their best works in the runway. For this blog, I'll be talking about the highlights of two of the big four fashion weeks, the NYFW and London Fashion Week.

NYFW

The New York Fashion Week has just concluded last week after 8 days of runway shows which previewed the trends for spring and summer 2013. The trends that seem to pop out of the runway were monochromatic trumps, patterns, spring-like colors, futuristic fashions, more skin exposure, and leather. These styles are considered very bold and different from the runway shows in the past and I'm pretty impressed and amazed with the works of well-known designers.

London Fashion Week

Next up is the London Fashion Week which is still up and running in the catwalk throughout the week showcasing some of the best designers in London. My favorites as of now are those from Topshop & show stopper Burberry Prorsum.

Topshop looks into the future with its futuristic designs and Burberry goes shiny and dazzling with its metallic, bright, foil-like styled clothing. Did I forget to mention that the show's also star-studded?! One Direction's Harry Styles has made an appearance which surely attracted a crowd of fan girls at the show ;) Check out some of the photos from the London Fashion Week below.
